NComputing Bolsters Bench-Strength to Accelerate Global Growth

The company has appointed Simon Pearce as Senior Vice President of Global Sales, and Jay Mellman as Vice President of Global Marketing. Pearce and Mellman will be responsible for extending NComputing's global reach in virtual desktop solutions for education and SMB markets and for accelerating the company's next growth cycle by driving mainstream adoption of disruptive products based on its next-generation Numo™ SoC (System on Chip) and new vSpace software, both coming later this year. In addition, their rich expertise with enterprise customers and channels strengthens the execution of NComputing's strategic expansion into the enterprise market with alliance partners such as Citrix Systems.

Simon Pearce will oversee NComputing's global sales, channel, strategic alliance and pre-sales teams. Pearce has 20 years of experience in the global technology industry and brings in-depth knowledge of desktop virtualization and international sales. Most recently he was with Quest Software where he spent 14 years establishing and then leading the European business, scaling it from a few million to more than $200 million. Most recently, he served as VP and GM for Quest's global desktop virtualization business.
Jay Mellman will be responsible for all aspects of NComputing's global marketing organization. A veteran of the information technology industry, Mellman has held senior global marketing positions with large companies including Cisco and HP, as well as a number of start-up organizations. His most recent position was as CMO of Rhomobile, a mobile development platform company recently acquired by Motorola Solutions.
Both positions report to NComputing CEO, Raj Dhingra.
