Says Sharad Sanghi, CEO, Netmagic Solutions, "In India, customers want to have their data centers located as close as possible to their business operations. Our strategy is to accommodate this demand and ensure that our data centers are large enough to meet their needs as well as be efficient enough to be viable. While customers may come to us because of our location, they stay with us because of our service and ability to help their infrastructure evolve as their business does.
"A common misconception is that any building can be converted to offer data center services. A data center is engineered from the ground up to ensure the highest levels of security, fully redundant systems with secondary and even tertiary backup systems, massive cooling systems and onsite electrical generation. Hence, we encourage customers to understand these finer elements of engineering that go behind building a data center and understand that even in a co-location arrangement, how important it is to have an IT Infrastructure partner who can understand the criticality of your data and has the experience and competence to support customers accordingly 24x7."
