New Strategic Partnership to drive Expansion of Mobile Payment
LUXEMBOURG, July 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
PAYONE integrates Yapital in its platform / Shop extensions have also been updated
Paying online without having to enter your card details over and over again? Mobile payment offers just that: Not only is it an easy and secure way of paying, but more and more people are also adopting it. With the integration of the first European cross-channel payment solution Yapital, PAYONE is expanding its range of payment services and is now offering its customers an additional opportunity to increase the conversion rate of their online shops. With Yapital, users can pay by smartphone to easily settle payments online, in shops and even by invoice. They simply scan the QR code and confirm the amount - that´s it. When paying online, customers can also enter their Yapital user name and password at the checkout. All transactions are secure and carried out in real-time.
In addition to the PAYONE platform, the shop extensions for Magento, OXID eShop and Shopware have already been updated to include Yapital in order to ensure that all Yapital payments are processed smoothly. Another advantage of the virtual wallet Yapital - which can be funded by SEPA direct debit or credit card - is that the solution offers data protection in accordance with European banking standards, with data processing taking place in European data centres.
"Wallets and mobile payment are gaining more and more fans in eCommerce. Yapital, the first European cross-channel payment solution, is very interesting for online retailers, particularly as consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of data protection. Yapital's approach to designing a contemporary and secure payment solution offers compelling arguments for PAYONE to enter into a joint venture with them," says Carl Frederic Zitscher, Managing Director of PAYONE. Karsten Cornelissen, Managing Director at Yapital, added: "Mobile payment will become part of consumers´ daily routines, especially when there are many opportunities for payment by smartphone - this is the reason why integrating Yapital into a retailer´s existing payment infrastructure must be as easy and straightforward as possible. Thanks to our cooperation with PAYONE, we have gained another strong partner with whom we can make a big leap forward when it comes to increasing the number of Yapital acceptance points."
Starting immediately, PAYONE customers can now choose Yapital as one of many other payment possibilities on the PAYONE platform.
