In 2012, Natural & Nutraceutical Products China (NPC), organised by UBM Sinoexpo, will take place on 26 - 28 June in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).

Review of NPC 2011
In 2011, NPC won great praise from the food industry. The three-day fairs at the SNIEC, along with CPhI - one the biggest pharmaceutical shows in Asia, and Fi Asia- China, Hi & Ni China - one of the biggest food & beverage shows in China, attracted 46,474 professional buyers - an astonishing 35% growth from 2010.
The shows also featured 2,334 excellent enterprises from all over the world. According to the official statistics, over 68% of the exhibitors met new clients at the show and 89% of attendees and companies thought the show was much more professional than others in the industry.
The thriving records in 2011 and the booming food and beverage industries in Asia indicate the world's growing need for the Asia's natural and health food.
Prospects for China's Health-care Industry
At present, China has the second biggest health-care market in the world and it is No.1 in natural and health food consumption.
"The GRDP of China's health-care industry will reach to 5.72 trillion by 2020 and the average annual growth rate will be 20%", Mr. Fenglou Zhang, the Chairman of the China Health Care Association said, "After a 20-year development, Chinese people's consumption of health food has become more rational and they pay more attention to the product safety. The government also provides stronger support by releasing new regulations to supervise the industry, so the potential for China's health food industry is enormous in the future."

In 2012, NPC will return to Shanghai China with the support of a large number of Chinese associations, such as the China Health Care Association, the China National Food Industry Association, the Zhejiang Health Food Association, the Shanghai Health-care Products Association. NPC is ready for return
The shows, coupled with CPhI and Fi Asia-China, Hi & Ni China will occupy a total of 13 halls with 150,000 square metres of space at the SNIEC.
Since NPC 2012 started to accept booth reservations, feedback from companies has been enthusiastic. So far 80% of the booths are sold out.
