Nyetimber English Sparkling Wine Launches Integrated Christmas Campaign
LONDON, November 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Campaign Includes, ATL, On-Trade & Off-Trade Collaboration and an Experiential Pop Up
To honour a year full of awards and accolades, Nyetimber, English Sparkling wine has launched a Festive campaign "Fireworks" in the run up to the Christmas season. The integrated campaign developed by Made Thought includes on and off trade merchandising, key customer collaborations and a stand-alone experiential Pop Up. Key highlights include: a luxurious Pop Up tasting room at 39C Jermyn Street, St. James's and a 'takeover' of celebrated English Wine retailer the Wine Pantry in Borough market.
From the 26th November to the 13th December, Nyetimber is bringing a taste of West Sussex to London with its exciting new Pop Up venture this festive season. By day, guests can drop in for sparkling wine tastings or do a little Christmas gift shopping. By night, the space will transform into a celebratory event location where Nyetimber will host a series of Masterclasses and parties, with like-minded luxury British brands, including: Linley, Floris, Alice Temperley, Harper's Bazaar and Tatler. Masterclasses will include special sessions focusing on vertical tastings of multiple vintages of Classic Cuvee and Blanc de Blancs.
In partnership with Jermyn Street perfumer Floris, we have created a limited edition scent inspired by the 2009 Rosé. On December 11th and 12th guests at the Pop Up have the opportunity to learn the parallels between winemaking and perfume making in a Masterclass lead by Penny Ellis, Bespoke Fragrance Manager at Floris, and Cherie Spriggs, Winemaker at Nyetimber. Each guest will leave with a bottle of this limited edition scent. Tickets for all Masterclasses are limited and can be booked by visiting http://www.nyetimber.com .
Eric Heerema, Nyetimber Owner and CEO commented: "A true pioneer, Nyetimber was one of the first producers of English sparkling wine and the first to plant Champagne varieties in the UK in 1988. Since then we have become the finest English sparkling wine producer to rival the Grand Marques of Champagne. It is great to now be the first English wine producer to have a luxury central London Pop Up store during Christmas. In addition the 'takeover' of the Wine Pantry is a great opportunity for us to offer our customers a chance to experience why Nyetimber has come to be synonymous with craftsmanship, heritage and the constant pursuit for perfection".
The on-trade activity continues to be an important factor in building the Nyetimber brand. Partnering with the Wine Pantry for this festive season is an obvious collaborative choice for Nyetimber as they exclusively champion English Wine and they are perfectly located in the key London foodie destination of Borough Market. Julia Stafford owner of the Wine Pantry commented: "We are delighted to host Internationally award winning Nyetimber, as our December producer of the month, at the Wine Pantry, 1 Stoney Street, Borough Market and showcase their vertical tasting Masterclasses at our sister venue the English Wine and Spirits Company at 8 Devonshire Row, Liverpool Street."
