Objet Strengthens its Emerging Markets Business with Four Strategic Appointments

Objet Ltd., the innovation leader in 3D printing for rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing, has announced key appointments to its Emerging Markets division, bringing on board a new general manager and new regional managers for Central America, South America and Africa. These management appointments reflect Objet's belief in the strong potential that emerging markets hold for rapid prototyping and 3D Printing. With the new regional managers in place, Objet is poised to boost its sales and service capabilities, ensuring it delivers maximum value to its growing customer base throughout the regions.

Amir Sheinman, as General Manager of Emerging Markets, is leading Objet's activities in this strategic arena. He joined Objet in March 2011, bringing with him more than 15 years of experience in management, sales, marketing, and business development at business-to-business and high technology companies, including HP and Solido 3D.

Andrew Dehart is the new Regional Manager for Central America, responsible for Mexico, Central America, Columbia and selected parts of South America. Andy has two decades of experience in rapid prototyping and 3D Printing marketing, sales and business development, including 11 years as ZCorporation's VP of Western Hemisphere Sales and three years helping launch the Stratasys 3D Printing program. Previously, Andy led the manufacturing and tools services departments at a major US CAD/CAM distributor organization.

Objet will work closely with its distributors throughout the Central American region, including HITEC in Mexico, to extend and support their Objet-related business.

Gilad Bet-Halevi is the new Regional Manager for Africa and Selected Countries in the Middle East. He brings 12 years of business partner management experience and a proven track record of expertise in Africa, Middle East and Europe. He is stationed in Objet's regional headquarters for South Africa, providing an effective gateway to the growing African market.

In addition to a dedicated team servicing the Africa region, Objet is represented by DemaPlasTech, the first local distributor in the region, appointed at the end of 2010.

Renata Sollero is the new Regional Manager for South America. Renata brings strong Business Partner management expertise in Brazil with deep knowledge of sales and business development and also marketing strategy. In her most recent position, Renata served as Dassault Systemes' Brazil Territory Channels Manager, and was responsible to recruit and develop partners to sell, implement and deliver 3D software solutions (CAD/CAM/CAE/others). Renata has also served as Business Alliances Manager at Oracle and was responsible to build and develop the partner network for a new line of products.

Objet will strengthen business with Sycad, the existing distributor in Brazil, and open new possibilities of partnerships seeking sustainable growth in South America Region.
