ABINGDON, England, August 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Key European Biopartnering Event to be Held at Novotel London West
OBN, the membership organisation supporting and bringing together the UK's emerging life sciences companies, corporate partners and investors, announces today that BioTrinity, the key European conference it delivers annually, will be held at the flagship Novotel London West on May 12-14th 2014 to meet growing demand and respond to continuous year-on-year growth of delegate numbers.
This new venue for BioTrinity marks the start of a new era in easy access for delegates. Located in Hammersmith, the Novotel London West is just 30 minutes (20 km) from Heathrow and 30 minutes from the City of London: Europe's financial centre. The plentiful hotel accommodation in the area will allow all delegates to stay within the venue or at one of the many hotels nearby.
Jon Rees, CEO of OBN, said: "I am delighted to announce this excellent new venue for BioTrinity. The conference grew by more than 50% based in Newbury and in order to meet increasing demand from the UK and overseas a move to London makes perfect sense. The new venue is already allowing us to innovate and respond to previous delegate feedback to deliver the best possible networking and collaborative opportunities in the forthcoming programme."
In addition to maintaining a truly world class speaker programme and partnering system, the new venue will allow BioTrinity 2014 to feature more opportunities to engage, all under one roof. A new all-inclusive "Big London Networking Party" will be open to all of the predicted 1000 delegates while established features including the "BioTrinity Investor Dinner" will be retained. At the heart of the conference will be a new "Connect for Growth" zone designed to maximise opportunities for delegates and exhibitors to meet.
David Boal, Director of Business Development at OBN, said: "Thanks to partners in fifteen media channels, fifteen supporting associations, and thirty sponsors we have grown BioTrinity into a powerhouse of partnering, with now unequalled networking opportunities for emerging companies. Delegates can expect the largest quantum leap yet in the quality and value of their experience at BioTrinity 2014."
Registration for BioTrinity 2014 will open in early September 2013, and over 1,000 delegates are expected to attend.
