Special Promotion Makes Travelling across Europe even more Attractive
From 1st August to 30th September 2014 InterRailˈs latest off-peak promotion offers a 15% discount on all InterRail Global Passes valid for rail travel in 30 European countries. The promotional passes can be used for travel starting after 15th September 2014.
By offering this special discount, InterRail intends to motivate customer to travel in low-season. Thus, they can further profit from the many benefits that are synonymous with off-peak travelling. "The advantages of shorter queues in touristic sights and lower prices are obvious", states Silvia Görlach, Marketing Manager of the Eurail Group G.I.E., "however, travelling across Europe once the large crowds have left, is a completely different experience, in which tourists have the chance to discover different countries, their culture and inhabitants in a more authentic and relaxed environment".
To support pass holders during their travels a dedicated InterRail App is available. The successful smartphone application provides travellers with valuable information, such as a European railway timetable, a full list of all InterRail Pass benefits and useful facts about the participating countries. Furthermore, it is possible to find the closest railway station with a handy built-in GPS function. The free Rail Planner App is available for both iOS and Android smartphones and works offline. Therefore, travellers can avoid expensive roaming costs and enjoy their Eurail trip to the greatest potential.
