WESTLAKE VILLAGE, California, Jan. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The new Build To Spec (BTS) Kit Hot Aisle Containment (HAC) Solution by Chatsworth Products (CPI) is a highly adaptable, easy-to-order, field-fabricated solution ideal for custom, retrofit applications that have a mix of cabinets in varying heights, widths and depths.

The BTS Kit is a huge advancement in data centre containment. It arrives on a pallet with only eight unique components and is designed for easy installation and customisation on-site.

The BTS Kit features a ceiling- or cabinet- supported duct that is used over a contained hot aisle as part of a closed hot air return. It integrates with perimeter cooling, providing immediate improved cooling efficiency and is compatible with economisation methods.

• Elevated, single-piece duct that allows cabinets to be removed, omitted or replaced as required
• Translucent duct and door panels that allow light to enter the contained aisle
• Doors that close automatically to maintain containment and reduce recovery time
