- Multilingual sites provide direct link to activist network
NEW YORK, March 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The OneVoice Movement is proud to announce the launch of a new digital grassroots platform to promote an end to the occupation and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through a negotiated two-state solution. Spanning three unique websites, the new OneVoiceMovement.org provides a direct connection to the network of OneVoice activists in Israel and Palestine built in the last 10 years, enabling supporters around the globe to share the movement's successes and lend their voice to the cause of #2StatesNOW.

The new platform will support OneVoice's efforts to mobilize the political center in Israel and Palestine to pressure leaders on both sides to make the two-state solution a reality, including with two cutting-edge campaigns to support the ongoing negotiations. OneVoice Palestine's "Wake Up! What Is Your Role Campaign?" is energizing the centrist, Palestinian mainstream to take their future into their own hands and support the Palestinian negotiators to secure an independent state. In parallel, OneVoice Israel will be launching a multimedia advertising campaign designed to reconnect young, middle class Israelis to the peace process by highlighting the concrete improvements that an agreement will bring in the economic issues that matter most to them -- the cost of living, affordable housing, and education.
Creative consultancy "A Hundred Years" spearheaded the digital strategy, design, and development of the new websites, which grew out of a 2013 TED Challenge led by OneVoice Founder and KIND Healthy Snacks CEO Daniel Lubetzky. And today's launch marks the completion of the website during this year's TED conference. "A Hundred Years" was chosen from a pool of applicants for their vision and proven story-telling abilities and collaborated with OneVoice over three continents and four time zones to design, build, and deploy this new vision.
OneVoice Israel and OneVoice Palestine's websites are in Hebrew and Arabic, respectively, and speak to their specific national communities, mirroring the parallel nature of OneVoice's regional programming. The English website is a reservoir of information pulled from OVI and OVP news and activities while providing additional information about programming in the U.S. and Europe. The websites are crossed-linked for easy access.
About the OneVoice Movement:
OneVoice is an international grassroots movement that amplifies the voice of mainstream Israelis and Palestinians, empowering them to propel their elected representatives toward the two-state solution. The Movement works to forge consensus for conflict resolution and build a human infrastructure capable of mobilizing the people toward a negotiated, comprehensive and permanent agreement between Israel and Palestine that ends the occupation, ensures security and peace for both sides, and solves all final-status issues in accordance with international law and previous bilateral agreements. The 1967 borders form the basis for the establishment of an independent, viable Palestinian state, with permanent borders and any modifications to be agreed upon by both parties. The Movement recognizes that violence by either side will never be a means to end the conflict.
