Neutral shipping: Resellers benefit from drop shipping
Next-day delivery has become established practice in the printing industry, too. Onlineprinters has further optimised its logistics processes in the past months to give customers more influence on delivery. Moreover, resellers can ship directly to end customers.

Printings delivered more quickly
The Onlineprinters online shop is run by German Onlineprinters GmbH, one of Europe's leading online print shops. Each year, the company produces around 2.1 billion printed products in its in-house production facilities. In 2015, more than 1.25 million shipments were sent to destinations all across Europe. Customers can now track their parcel's shipping status in real-time. Additionally, the delivery time window is limited to one hour to give customers more certainty as to when their parcel will arrive. What is more, customers just need to send an e-mail to postpone delivery by up to three working days.
Additionally, all freight shipments have been sent by express delivery free of charge since 1st October. This makes freight forwarding nearly as fast as parcel delivery.
Neutral delivery enables drop shipping
Being a partner to various resellers such as agencies and print shops, Onlineprinters has focused on further optimising the shipping process for this customer group. The online print shop offers drop shipping free of charge which means that products are shipped directly to the end customers of those ordering the products. "This requires trust. Having evolved from a traditional print shop, we understand the needs of our resale partners," Onlineprinters CEO Dr. Michael Fries emphasises and he adds: "This is why we generally ship our products in neutral packaging without any reference to us as a manufacturer. Standard shipping is always free. Data protection and discretion are our top priority."
Drop shipping requires the possibility to specify an alternative shipping address besides the invoice address so that end customers only receive the goods and not the invoice from the manufacturer. To not disclose the actual manufacturer of the printed products, Onlineprinters uses both neutral packaging and neutral delivery notes. Additionally, a customised return address can be specified to identify the reseller or agency as the originator.
About the company
Onlineprinters GmbH is one of Europe's leading online print providers. In line with the motto "Print simply online!" the company sells printed products to 500,000 customers in 30 European countries through its 15 web shops.
