Optimax, the UK's longest established vision correction specialist, has extended its range of implantable lenses with an advanced new addition. The Alcon AcrySof IQ PanOptix trifocal lens receives its official launch later this year, however Mr Amir Hamid, Medical Director at Optimax, has been granted early permission to trial the lens with selected patients for the purpose of publishing his findings.

Early reports indicate high levels of patient satisfaction, with fewer instances of side effects commonly associated with Lens Exchange surgery.
The new lens builds on Optimax's reputation for early introduction of advanced lens technology, following its pre-launch offering of the AMO Symfony lens in 2014.
