Peter Done, joint founder of BetFred and managing director of Peninsula Business Services will create 35 jobs by launching a new venture which will see legal experts visit companies to carry out dismissals, redundancies or disciplinary procedures on behalf of bosses who do not wish to conduct the HR processes themselves.

Peter Done said today, "Show me one person who enjoys firing someone, it's not enjoyable. I was receiving calls from business friends asking if I could send my legal team to perform jobs they did not want to face such as disciplining staff and I thought there must be a market for this. I called my managers at 11:30pm one evening, explained the idea and asked for their thoughts, within 24 hours we had a product and a name - hrface2face."
Done continues, "My brother Fred and I recruit some terrific people, but there are always people who aren't quite on the mark, so we don't carry passengers and neither should any business. It doesn't matter how many times you sack someone it's important that you follow watertight rules to ensure that there are no consequences at employment tribunal."
