LONDON, July 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are celebrating the birth of their baby boy, but have so far remained silent about possible baby names. Bookmakers in the UK have seen bets jump since Prince William's wife Kate went into labour early Monday morning. According to betting agent Ladbrokes, the public's current favourite name for the new prince is George, with odds of 4-1. James comes in second at 5-1, followed by Alexander at 8-1. Louis, Henry, Albert, Arthur and Phillip, are other favourites.
But the world may have to wait some time before learning the name of the third in line to the British throne. It is not uncommon for Buckingham Palace to wait for as long as a month before announcing the name of a new addition to the royal family.
