LONDON, April 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
Local charitable organisation, Generation Success, are today celebrating following one of their most successful fundraising events to date. The "Professional Photography Day", which the enterprise ran in collaboration with The Office Group (TOG) - a leading provider of design-led and flexible offices, meeting rooms and co-working spaces for start-ups and small businesses - and Sam Lane Photography (SLP), was organised with the aim of helping local professionals and students to perfect their online business profile with a high quality portrait, while raising money for Generation Success and their local (Hackney) unemployment scheme.

The event, which took place at TOG's London headquarters in Singer Street on March 23rd, raised more than £1,000, making it the most successful single event that the group has organised so far.
Generation Success founder, James Adeleke, comments: "We're absolutely delighted by how well today's event has gone. It just goes to show how with a little bit of effort independent companies can take a leading role in creating a generation of success."
A not-for-profit organisation, Generation Success was founded with the aim of bridging the gap between young people (aged 18-25), business and education providers. "One of the major problems that the UK - and other leading European countries - is facing at the moment is that many young people feel disenfranchised," continues Adeleke. "While the business community is crying out for skilled workers, there is a serious gap between what they need and what the education establishment is preparing our young people to do, so when they try to make their way into employment many young people flounder.
"At Generation Success we want to give all young people the chance to shine and we can do that by supporting them to develop the skills they need to get along in their chosen profession. If young people feel valued and supported, they are far more likely to make a positive contribution to society, rather than living on the fringes and seeking a community elsewhere."

Notes to Editors:
About Generation Success
Generation Success was launched by successful business man James Adeleke. A law graduate of BPP University, London, James has enjoyed a varied career in business development. He was inspired to found Generation Success following the London riots of 2011 - himself a member of what tabloid media were calling "the lost generation", he decided it was time to start reclaiming the future for today's youth. Rather than laying blame and pointing fingers, James wanted to find ways to tackle the roots of society's problems: food poverty; deprivation; educational and employment inequality. Generation Success is James' way of helping to ensure that every young person has the chance to shine.
"I truly believe that we are limited by the boundaries of our minds," says Adeleke, "so I am always trying to expand mine - and to help others to do the same."

Based in Hackney, with 30 buildings strategically positioned across London, as well as sites in Bristol and Leeds, TOG is currently working in collaboration with National Rail to establish a network of offices, meeting rooms and drop-in work spaces in the direct vicinity of train stations.
