QNA & KnowledgeView Organize a Workshop on the Latest Digital Publishing Technologies

In line with its mission to empower Qatari media, Qatar News Agency (QNA) organized a technical workshop from 10 to 12 September 2012 at its premises in Doha on 'The Latest Digital Publishing Technologies' targeting Qatari professionals working in digital publishing and broadcasting in media companies and ministries.
The workshop aims to get Qatari media professionals acquainted to the challenges and solutions to their operations and workflows in terms of news management systems including receiving, editing, tagging and publishing content packages in text, photo, video and XML formats on multiple platforms as well as Facebook and Twitter. The workshop shed light on the best practices in multi-publishing, media monitoring, content searching and archiving tools with examples from the Arab world and beyond, showcasing QNA and other success stories in the field of integrated newsroom and cross-media publishing.
The workshop, conducted over three days by Dr. Ali Al Assam, CEO of KnowledgeView was wrapped up with hands on training for attendees.
