New product, innovative technology and ambitious NEV strategy
The first sports crossover sedan on the Chinese market, Qoros 3 GT - and the newest addition to the Qoros family - is unveiled today at the Qoros booth. Qoros 3 GT features a distinctive elevated chassis design, first-class sports performance as well as an expressive sedan design. It creates a completely new segment offering a stylish option for consumers who prefer both the driving comfort of a sedan and the ground clearance of an SUV. Two trims of the model - equipped with powerful 1.6-litre turbo-charged engine paired with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission - are available for consumers. The manual model is priced at RMB110,900 yuan and the automatic model is priced at RMB139,900 yuan respectively.
At the show, Qoros also introduces to the world the very first drivable engineering development car powered by the innovative QamFree engine. The technology is jointly developed by Qoros and FreeValve, the sister company of the legendary supercar maker Koenigsegg. This revolutionary engine technology has recently earned recognition from the renowned American science publication, Popular Science, ranking No. 1 for its break-through technology that transforms the traditional gas engine.
Benchmarking with leading global EV standards, the Qoros 3 Q-LECTRIQ EV concept also joins the display at the Qoros booth. Featuring its extraordinary 350km driving range, 7 seconds for 0-100kph, top speed of 180km and 80% fast charging within one hour, the Q-LECTRIQ EV concept daringly expresses the company's innovative spirit and insight into future mobility solutions. In another area of future mobility exploration, Qoros is partnering with a leading mobility company to develop autonomous driving applications.
