Quintiq, a global leader in supply chain planning and optimization (SCP&O), co-hosted a one-day seminar with Alunorf, the world's largest aluminum rolling and casting plant to provide insights into how metals and manufacturing companies solve the pertinent planning challenges facing their businesses. Held at Alunorf's facility in Dusseldorf, Germany, the seminar demonstrated how Alunorf's relationship with Quintiq has optimized its planning procedures and enabled the company to meet its business goals.

Almost 20 attendees from 12 leading metals and manufacturing companies from Germany and Austria, including V & M Deutschland GmbH, Tribotecc GmbH, apt Hiller GmbH, Klöckner Pentaplast GmbH and Buderus Edelstahl GmbH, participated in a discussion with Alunorf on their planning approach, and took part in a roundtable conversation with Francois Eijgelshoven, Vice President of EMEA, Quintiq. During lunch, attendees participated in an interactive planning challenge which provided them with an opportunity to solve planning problems and network with peers.
Throughout the seminar, attendees were encouraged to ask questions and learn more about how Alunorf and Quintiq work together to solve production planning puzzles. Over the last 14 years, Alunorf has implemented several Quintiq applications to optimize its entire supply chain, including production scheduling and integrated company planning solutions.
