Specializing in energy-efficient steel construction, Ruukki implemented Quintiq's solution to optimize the use and distribution of materials. By decreasing lead times, it was able to reduce inventory levels, improve productivity and heighten delivery performance. Ismo Platan, corporate senior VP and CIO at Ruukki, is hosting the Gartner session, "Ruukki's Supply Chain Optimization - Solving Puzzles Globally with Quintiq", and will explain how the collaboration between the two companies led to optimized logistics and production processes via a single integrated solution.
"Ruukki has been a Quintiq customer since 2003 and has experienced our dedication to delivering solutions designed to evolve with a business as it grows," said Mr. Heeres. "We are honored to have Ruukki discuss its success using Quintiq's platform at this year's Gartner Supply Chain Executive Conference."
Gartner has long been recognized by supply chain leaders as the No. 1 source for expert business advice and insight. During this year's Supply Chain Executive Conference, participants are invited to visit booth #PR1 to meet with a Quintiq representative, speak with Ismo Platan of Ruukki, compete in the 10-task shipping challenge and view live demonstrations of Quintiq 5.0.
