BRUSSELS, May 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The renowned Radisson Blu West of Ireland Championship took place over the Easter bank holiday weekend at its traditional home, County Sligo Golf Club at Rosses Point. The event was sponsored this year by the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Sligo and the overall winner of the championship is 22 year old Paul Cutler from Portstewart after a cut throat final against his longtime friend Alan Dunbar.

With stunning weather over the weekend and many international golfers, this year's West of Ireland Championship also saw locals take to the course including Steffan O'Hara, Gary McDermott, Michael Durcan and Barry Anderson from Co. Sligo Golf Club and Adrian Wynne and Darragh O'Sullivan from Strandhill Golf Club.
