The regional conferences hosted by RISI provide information to professionals within the forest products industry on market trends and include two-year outlooks for the industry from RISI economists plus guest speakers from leading companies.
The 2013 regional conferences include:
RISI's 15th Annual European Pulp and Paper Outlook Conference will take place on April 22-24, 2013 at the Marriott Hotel in Vienna, Austria. RISI will be introducing its first annual Bio Strategy Seminar. The seminar will be held concurrently with the pulp and paper conference. RISI's 14th Annual Asian Pulp and Paper Outlook Conference will take place on June 17-19, 2013 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Shanghai, China. During this conference, RISI will introduce its first annual International Timberland Investments Seminar. The seminar will be held concurrently with the pulp and paper conference. RISI's 8th Annual Latin American Pulp and Paper Outlook Conference is confirmed for August 5-7, 2013 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Sao Paulo, Brazil. RISI will be introducing its first annual Timberland and Forestry Management Seminar. The seminar will be held concurrently with the pulp and paper conference. RISI's 28th Annual North American Forest Products Conference will take place October 7-9, 2013 at the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego, California. This conference focuses on all aspects of the industry including a CEO/Executive Panel and RISI's two-year forecasts for pulp, paper, wood, timber and bioenergy markets. In addition to RISI's regional events, RISI will also be producing additional events in 2013.
PPI Transport Symposium 20 will take place on October 28-31, 2013 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, MD. PPI Transport Symposium 20 is organized by RISI in association with the International Forest Products Transport Association (IFPTA). It is the longest running conference and exhibition dedicated to the global forest products logistics industry. The event focuses on the issues surrounding the worldwide transport, materials handling, and distribution of forest products.
