Russia's National Bank TRUST Continues to Expand Credit Card Portfolio Size with Launch of a New Credit Card - TRUST TRAVEL
MOSCOW, December 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
National Bank Trust ('TRUST Bank'), whose products are advertised by Bruce Willis, is launching its new credit card: TRUST TRAVEL. Modeled on World MasterCard® and World MasterCard Black Edition®, TRUST TRAVEL is designed to allow its customers the freedom to stay connected in the worlds of finance and travel. It is part of the bank's ongoing modernization of its credit and debit card product line.
A high credit limit (up to RUB 1 million) and the ability to earn miles easily through everyday purchases and cash withdrawals* are the main attraction for its card holders. In turn, they earn miles, which allow them to travel for free. In a few months card holders will be able to accumulate enough miles to fly from Moscow to Berlin and back. Bonus miles can be redeemed for a wide range of tourist services: flights on over 380 Russian and foreign airlines, accommodation at hotels around the world, auto rentals, visa support, and many other services offered by the partner company IGlobe.
In addition, TRUST TRAVEL cardholders receive complementary insurance while traveling abroad, special offers and free gifts. Upon receiving the card and on the client's birthday, additional welcoming bonuses are awarded (5,000 and 1,000 miles, respectively).
"TRUST TRAVEL is a modern product with the widest possible range of options, including some that are unique for the Russian market. For example, we offer bonus miles not only for cashless transactions, but also for cash withdrawals from ATMs," Vasiliy Kuznetsov, managing board member of Bank TRUST, commented. "Additionally, TRUST TRAVEL cards feature the latest security technology and the one-touch payment system MasterCard PayPass®, which is becoming increasingly popular in our country. This new offer from TRUST Bank meets the highest global standards while remaining affordable and accessible to various groups of people."
For new cards the bank offers a grace period of up to 55 days, interest rates from 19% per annum, and an annual payment (RUB 2,500 to 5,000). The process of applying for and receiving the card takes less than 15 minutes from the moment a client enters the bank office.
«Bank TRUST is systematically expanding its line of MasterCard products, creating offers for diverse groups of clients and introducing the innovative payment system MasterCard PayPass. With the TRUST TRAVEL card based on World MasterCard or World MasterCard Black Edition, you can use reward points for tickets on any airline. Our premium cards are designed for clients who travel often and value comfort and a high level of service. This product combines sophisticated design and exclusive privileges," said Mikhail Fedoseev, Director of Sales and Product Development of MasterCard in Russia.
Since 2012, credit cards have been a priority sector for Bank TRUST. According to data compiled by Frank Research Group, TRUST is in leading positions on the market by the growth rates of its credit card portfolio (in 2012, from RUB 4.3 billion to 10.7 billion, estimate by year-end 2013, more than RUB 20 billion). TRUST will be one of the top 10 Russian banks by credit card portfolio size in 2014.

The technology was first demonstrated in Russia in 2008 and since then the network of locations accepting MasterCard PayPass is growing rapidly across the country.
