Secure Messenger for Business Users Expanded: TrustCase Now with Self-deleting Messages and Additional Functions

TrustCase GmbH is expanding its Business Messenger TrustCase (Apple iOS and Google Android) with further functions relevant for business customers and unique to date: the iOS version of the app offers two new features - fingerprint-protected chatrooms and self-deleting messages.

An optional TrustBroker license is required for this. This function allows any TrustCase user to guarantee the identities of his contacts. Used in combination with the protected areas, any user who is in the TrustBroker colleague's 'TrustCircle' can receive and send self-deleting messages. Access to the specially-protected rooms is given to the user once his fingerprint has been read in.

The TrustBroker feature is similarly available for the Android version of TrustCase. But since only a few Android devices are equipped with fingerprint readers, the protected chatrooms and self-deleting messages are only available under Apple iOS at present.

The combination of access-protected chatrooms and self-deleting messages provides maximum protection. The rooms are particularly well-suited to ad-hoc groups in connection with a project or in the event of an emergency. The delete function ensures that anything circulated in writing remains solely within the group.

The TrustCase app is available for free download for iOS in the App Store and for Android at Google Play; the Android version is already compatible with Android 7.0 "Nougat". By the end of 2016, the TrustCase app will be available in eight further languages, in addition to English.
