Ivyclique, India's upcoming content-focused start up set to introduce a "content ERP" system for its B2B clients.
MUMBAI, Jan. 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Launched in April 2015, Ivyclique, a contemporary content curation, sharing and publishing platform in the Indian B2C space, has announced its intention to further penetrate the content marketing space by launching its very own end to end solution called "Clockwork."
"India is just waking up to the immense power of content in all its forms and the moment is right to formalize a system that is precise, like clockwork, hence the name," says the company's CEO, Anjan Purandare. "We want to treat the entire process of content consumption by brands as an ERP system that gives detailed and granular information, content flows, roles and responsibilities and most importantly, feedback to the brand owners," he opines.
According to company sources, the company will work across creating, managing, publishing and measuring content, giving an all-round view of what content is being consumed and how deep the "engagement" is of the target audience with the brand.
"Engagement is an abused digital word today. Brand managers often get excited when they see high page view figures but they count for next-to-nothing if there is no scroll depth or time spent on the page," said Anjan. Content marketing spend in the West has been in excess of $145bn with companies such as Newscred and Contently leading the charge. Brands like Coke, Nike and Red Bull have all been beneficiaries of smart and precise content marketing, wherein each piece of content is treated as an asset and is accurately mapped.
India with its burgeoning middle class and rising disposable incomes is at the cusp of a content marketing explosion that will revolutionize the way customers seek to engage with brands. The question is, are these very brands prepared to engage meaningfully with customers? It is this riddle that Purandare and his team at Ivyclique are in the quest to solve.
With over 10 existing clients such as CommonFloor, Snapdeal, Joy By Nature and Edureka, the company is in advanced talks with multiple other brands across healthcare, education, technology and real estate. The company boasts 15 full time writers spread across the globe specializing in varied subject areas and a bunch of freelancers within its arsenal.
"We are a bootstrapped company and being in the content play allows us to be one. We have been fully promoter-funded in our journey thus far," says Purandare, who is busy pushing his concept to investors in India and abroad as he seeks funds for his ambitious and exciting project. The company, which began monetizing in October of 2015, is currently on the lookout for a strategic investor.
