Segway Appoints Nicola Dallatana Vice President Of International Sales

- Dallatana to Expand Distribution Network and Drive Sales of the World's Leading Electric Personal Transportation Products in EMEA and APAC

BEDFORD, New Hampshire, July 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Segway Inc. (Segway), the world's leading provider of electric personal transportation, announces it has named Nicola Dallatana as its Vice President of International Sales with responsibility for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC).

Dallatana has been with Segway for 10 years. His most recent position was Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Government Relations. He has a broad range of experience in managing regulatory and government affairs, distribution networks and sales initiatives. In his new role, he will be responsible for:

• Significantly expanding Segway's global distribution network
• Driving sales, maximizing revenue and expanding market share
• Supervising government relations

Prior to joining Segway, Dallatana worked at Weber Shandwick, a public affairs firm. Previous to that, he worked with the Regional Delegation of Piedmont to the European Union and European Commission. Dallatana studied in Belgium, Thailand and Singapore. He holds an International Political Science Degree from the University of Bologna in Italy.
