The Cake Awards are the only awards dedicated to recognising excellence in cake and are a unique opportunity for organisations to showcase their best products to the most respected figures in the industry. Judges including Bruce Langlands, Director of Food at Harrods, Will Torrent, award winning pâtissier and chocolatier, and Allan Jenkins, Editor of Observer Food Monthly, put each product through a rigorous judging process to decide the shortlist and winners based on a strict criteria of excellent presentation, quality ingredients, recipe innovation, texture, taste and value.
Jane Milton, Co Founder of the Cake Awards said: "It's great to see the shortlist feature such a broad range of sources, from Michelin star holders to small bakers and many of the multiple retailers too.
