Sunday's final score: LA Galaxy 1 - 0 Houston Dynamo
It was a great day for the former England captain as David Beckham shepherded USA front runners, LA Galaxy to a 1-0 victory against Houston Dynamo. Managed by Simon Fuller at XIX Entertainment, the 36 year old played an instrumental part in LA Galaxy's success, setting the ball up for Landon Donovan who neatly planted it in the back of the net. "This is an important moment for David, and I'm delighted that we're able to share this victory and to see the LA Galaxy win their first MLS Trophy win since 2005, and for David to add to his Premier League and La Liga trophies from England and Spain. He has been in sensational form this season, and I'd like to mark the moment by paying tribute to him in recognition of everything that he's achieved so far in his incredible career in football, for helping raise the status and value of British sport around the world and for being such an excellent ambassador for our country."
