AGT International's CityMIND solution is a unique public safety platform comprising powerful advanced analytics software. This provides real time situational information to the relevant government agency, alerts them of unusual behavioral or event patterns, and arms them with the information to take swift action to defuse potential threats. The solution uniquely combines a range of capabilities that will be available to government agencies on mobile tablets and an application that will be available to the public. A diverse set of sensors will be integrated onto the common CityMIND platform, which will not only enhance public safety and secure critical assets and infrastructure, but will also improve the overall operational efficiency of each agency. Some examples of these advanced sensors include behavioral recognition sensors, social media intelligence platforms, and smart environmental sensors.
The award comes at a time when Singapore is dealing with the challenges associated with rapid urban growth. "While AGT's presence might be relatively new, we look forward to solutions that the AGT-O'Connor's consortium will bring to fruition in Singapore. We hope the solutions will enhance a country's safety and security operations and deploy resources more efficiently, thus addressing issues that Singapore and other cities worldwide will face," said Mr Gian Yi-Hsen, Director of the Safety and Security Industry Program Office from Economic Development Board. "Singapore is one of the safest cities in the world in which to live and we strive to remain so by co-developing innovative safety and security solutions with the industry. AGT understands our vision and we hope our partnership will result in new solutions that will shape our safety and security landscape," said Mr Anselm Lopez, Director Capabilities Development and International Partnerships of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Danny Beh, Vice President for AGT International in Singapore, said: "We are honored and excited by the opportunity to partner with the Government of Singapore. The consortium understands the safety and security needs of a growing and densely populated city. Our solution is uniquely positioned to help City authorities manage these requirements. CityMIND will deliver the right information, to the right agency, at the right time allowing them to make more timely decisions."
Mati Kochavi, Founder and CEO of AGT International, commented: "As a leading world city, Singapore is a wonderful place to deploy smart solutions for public safety. AGTs CityMind solution is based on unique technologies that allow cities to better prepare, predict and manage all situations. Such solutions turn cities to become smarter, safer, friendlier and more efficient."
As part of its long term commitment to Singapore, AGT International will open in Singapore a city center of excellence that will include AGTs solutions deployed in 20 cities around the world. The center will focus, among others, on use of mobile, city applications and social media utilizing the science of big data.
