Sir Martin Sorrell, CEO of WPP, to Speak at a Major Marketing Conference in CEE
- Global Leaders in Advertising and Marketing Services Among Speakers in Warsaw on April 9th
WARSAW, Poland, April 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Harvard Business Review Poland and its partners Grey Group Poland, Millward Brown and POSSIBLE have announced the line-up for their upcoming conference "New Marketing: a critical business value generator".
The event, which aims to demonstrate "how new marketing can grow the competitiveness of Polish companies", will take place in Warsaw on April 9th.
Among the speakers is Sir Martin Sorrell, founder and CEO of WPP, the world's largest communication services group. It will be Sir Martin's first visit to Poland.
Other speakers include European and global leaders in advertising and marketing services, such as Jon Williams (CDO Grey EMEA), Shane Atchison (Global CEO POSSIBLE), Tim Wragg (CEO Millward Brown Europe), Agnieszka Weglarz (head of the team responsible for managing the Plus brand) and Pawel Ciacek (co-founder of SMG/KRC, now Client Service Director of Millward Brown Poland).
The conference will highlight current trends in marketing communications and how best to use them to increase competitiveness and financial performance. There will be a strong focus on the new challenges associated with the rapid development of technology and digital media, and on the growing significance of data and consumer insight in successful campaigns. Part of the conference will be devoted to digital innovations, particularly in the public sector.
Sir Martin, whose ancestors came from Poland, Ukraine and Romania, has often spoken of the growing importance of the Central and Eastern European region to the marketing services industry.
