Skanska Builds Life Sciences Building for University of Washington in Seattle, USA, for USD 71M, About SEK 600M
ÖSTERSUND, Sweden, Dec 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
Skanska has signed a contract with the University of Washington to build the school's new Life Sciences Building and Greenhouse. The contract is worth USD 71M, about SEK 600M, which will be included in the order bookings for Skanska USA Building for the fourth quarter 2016.
The new 7-story building will include about 16,000 square meters of laboratory space and classrooms. Additionally, Skanska will construct 1,400 square meters of new greenhouse space.
Construction is under way with completion scheduled for summer 2018.
