"As we expected, there has been a global outpouring of interest for the 200 or so speaker slots for AGILE2014," said Mitch Lacey, AGILE2014 conference chair. "This is a highly competitive process because it's such a remarkable opportunity to share your knowledge with Agilists across the world. There's still time to submit, and if you have a topic, I encourage you to participate."
Submissions for the conference are selected by a peer review process. Potential presenters are encouraged to carefully review the 17 available conference tracks and submit proposals under the track that most nearly represents their proposed topic(s). The tracks cover all aspects of Agile development, from tips to get started with small teams to advanced, enterprise strategies based on years of experiences.
The Agile2014 conference will be held July 28–August 1 in Orlando, Florida. In its 13th year, the Agile Alliance annual conference is the leading international, noncommercial conference on Agile methods in software development. Last year the conference drew nearly 1,800 Agilists from 38 countries who gathered to hear from recognized experts, authors and innovators.
At the heart of each Agile Conference is connecting and sharing. Attendees from around the globe gather, many for consecutive years, to meet with peers and the foremost leaders in the Agile domain. The relationships made, support received, and knowledge gained provide an enriching and long-lasting experience that fosters both individual success and the collective advancement of the industry.
