Preston-based building services provider enhances SPIE UK operations in Northern England
SPIE has today announced the acquisition of Garside & Laycock to further grow its UK business SPIE UK, develop its UK facilities management offering and expand its presence in the North of England.
With prestigious clients including the Royal Mail, Her Majesty's Courts Services, Lancashire County Council, University of Manchester and Greater Manchester Police, Garside & Laycock is an award winning company, specialising in the routine maintenance, reactive and refurbishment service industry within the government and commercial market sectors. Headquartered in Preston, Lancashire, the organisation employs 80 people and achieved turnover of £16M (€21M) in 2011.
