SSON's Next "Big Idea": Will Robots Steal Your Job?
LONDON, March 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
Every year SSON invites two innovators from outside of the shared services market to give their views on trends in the wider-world that are disrupting the way Shared Services, GBS, Outsourcing and Transformation leaders do business. The idea is to inspire professionals in the Shared Services arena to sit up, listen and think outside of the daily grind.
Dan Cobley, Co-founder and CEO at Brightbridge Ventures and Google's former MD UK & Ireland, and Nicklas Bergman, entrepreneur, tech investor and futurist at Tech Cast Technology Think Tank, are the ones in charge of getting the next "Big Idea" rolling at this year's SSON flagship European event, the 16th Annual Shared Services & Outsourcing Week.
At the event, Cobley will cover how digital is changing everything, how leading companies are obsessed about data, how it is captured, shared and visualised to drive real advantage and how Google's obsession with data has helped it stay ahead. Bergman will also be presenting a "Big Ideas Keynote", where he will focus on how the field of Robotics and Digitization has evolved to change behaviours and work in the past and sweeping right through the coming years focusing on careers, employment and the labour market.
Copies of the event agenda are fully downloadable from the event website here, at no cost. A copy can also be requested via email at events@ssonetwork.com.
Alongside cutting-edge presentations from 80+ keynote business and thought leaders on the plenary stage, this year SS&O Week Europe sits at the heart of discussions about direction and strategy in this rapidly changing market, providing advice from many of the leading minds within Shared Services and GBS.
