Start of Application Phase for the GALA SPA AWARDS 2017

The Internationally Renowned Beauty and Spa Award is Looking for Innovative Concepts, Products, and Locations

Following its successful 20th anniversary this spring, dreamlike spa locations and luxury hotels, innovative beauty products, and extraordinary treatments are now being sought for the 21^st GALA SPA AWARDS. Companies from more than 36 countries can submit their unique care concepts and feel-good locations up to September 9, 2016. Companies from the Seychelles will be able to take part in the competition for the first time this year. The GALA SPA AWARDS is one of the most important international beauty and spa awards.

My fellow jurors and I are truly looking forward to testing many new and innovative care products as well as dreamlike spa locations for the GALA SPA AWARDS," says GALA editor-in-chief and GALA SPA AWARDS judging panel member, Anne Meyer-Minnemann.

The GALA SPA AWARDS will be presented in Baden-Baden on March 25, 2017 at a glamorous ceremony attended by well-known guests. Special highlights of the evening will include the announcement of the winners of the "Beauty Idol" award and the "Special Prize". The "Beauty Idol" award honors a celebrity who stands out due to his or her positive attitude to life and lifestyle in accordance with the spa concept. "Beauty Idol" award winners from recent years include Naomi Campbell, Chantelle Winnie, Irina Shayk, Toni Garrn, Julie Delpy and Karolina Kurkova, among others. The most recent "Special Prize" was awarded to Professor Doctor Michael Braungart, who advocates the conservation of resources and eco-effectiveness.
