"I have found true inspiration and have developed as an individual," says 20-year old Global Intern 2011 winner Minjae Koo from Korea, who won a global internship that took her to three continents. Minjae's role was to support EF's international marketing campaigns and her intercontinental responsibilities took her to EF's offices in Zurich, Boston and Shanghai.
Students from all over the world now have the opportunity to follow into Minjae's footsteps by applying for the 2012 contest. The winner of the contest, open to all young people of any nationality aged 18 or older, will receive a 3-month work internship with EF in three world-class cities on three continents of his or her choice, with all travel, accommodation, and meals provided by EF. An international panel of EF judges will select the winner based on the contestant's resume and personal video.
"We are looking for an individual who best encapsulates the ideals of today's youth," says Eva Kockum, President of EF International Language Centers in Zurich. "Open mindedness, curiosity about the world, and an adventurous spirit are qualities that not only will distinguish our winner, but will contribute to creating a future leader in an increasingly competitive world."
To enter, students must register their resume on http://www.ef.com/globalintern and submit a video of no more than three minutes describing how the internship will impact their future. The deadline for the submission of the video is January 31st 2012.
Minjae concludes, "I experienced so many precious moments and I look forward to congratulating the winner of the Global Intern 2012."
