Education charity Summerbridge Hong Kong have chosen JustGiving as their official fundraising partner for the inaugural Summerbridge walkathon.
Summerbridge is a charitable organization, which improves the educational paths of underprivileged students from low-income families by providing them with free English language tuition, academic, and personal development opportunities. The agreement will see JustGiving working closely with Summerbridge to drive fundraising for the event, which will benefit 300 students and 120 student teachers who participate each year. Established in 2001, JustGiving has revolutionised the way in which people give to charitable causes, raising over $16 billion for over 13,000 charities so far. The platform opened to Hong Kong charities and their supporters in 2013. Participants in the inaugural walkathon will benefit from JustGiving's super social fundraising tools, mobile-optimised fundraising pages, integration with Facebook and Twitter, and apps for iPhone and android.
