SunEdison Names Jose Perez President Of Europe, Africa And Latin America

BELMONT, California, April 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SunEdison, Inc. (NYSE: SUNE), a leading provider of solar energy services, today appointed Jose Perez as President of SunEdison Europe, Africa and Latin America; replacing Pancho Perez who moves into a new role with SunEdison Capital.

In his new position, Jose Perez will direct all business development activities in these regions, where the company operates eight offices in Spain, United Kingdom, Italy, Turkey, Jordan, Chile, Brazil and Mexico.

A Solid Record in International Management Positions

Jose Perez has an important international experience in SunEdison and in his overall career.  Before taking up his position as Vice President for SunEdison in Latin America, Perez was VP of Global Project Operations and VP Operations for EMEA at SunEdison.

His previous career includes different international positions in EMI Music such as CFO for Asia Pacific & Latin America and VP Finance at EMI Music International.  He also served as VP Regional Controller Continental Europe at Universal Pictures.

Perez earned a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Universidad de Deusto, Spain.
