Sungrow String Inverters Passed VDE-ASIG Reliability Tests
MUNICH, April 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Recently, Sungrow's SG15KTL, SG20KTL and SG30KTL PV inverters successfully passed the extensive reliability tests of the German Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies ("VDE") laboratory ASIG, a complementary long-term operation reliability test based in Augsburg, Germany. So far in the European market, only a few inverters have passed the ASIG test.
Focusing on the design, workmanship, operation mode and reliability of the electronic equipment, the ASIG test usually takes 3 months per product and includes stress-tests of components in respect to power, current and temperature. ASIG's test can therefore provide professional and authoritative feedback on the reliability of the equipment tested. By passing the ASIG test, customers can have more confidence in the long-term reliable performance of Sungrow's inverters.
"The ASIG reliability test results are confirmation of Sungrow inverters' long-term reliable operation. Together with a Double A Grade from PHOTON Lab, yet another confirmation of our inverters' high conversion efficiency, this reflects our dedication to PV inverter research and manufacturing for 16 years," said Raymond Wong, VP of Sungrow. "They are also comprehensive evaluations of Sungrow inverters' superior quality from authoritative agencies."
Though their outstanding performance, Sungrow's medium power inverters have obtained various certificates since they have arrived on the market, such as TUV, CE, BDEW, VDE AR N 4105, and CGC. Worth mentioning still is that many an inverter has been awarded the PHOTON double A grade. The ASIG reliability certificate not only proves the reliability of Sungrow inverters, but it enriches the category of Sungrow's products that have passed overseas certification and fulfilled the access requirements of global markets, and enhances clients' confidence in choosing Sungrow.
