Suriname Seeks to end Contract for Carolina Bridge

The Ministry of Public Works of Suriname has announced it seeks to end its contract with Ballast Nedam for the design and construction of the Carolina bridge across the Suriname river. The Ministry wishes to open consultations with Ballast Nedam in order to achieve a proper settlement. Ballast Nedam published the signing of the contract on 11 July 2011.
