The agenda encompasses more than 75 sessions featuring panel and roundtable discussions, case studies, live demos, and analyst and partner presentations. In support of this year's conference theme, "Be A Champion," the agenda will cover topics critical to modern finance such as advanced analytics, integrated financial planning, consolidation and reporting, collaborative disclosure management, budgeting and planning, Solvency II compliance, and migration to the cloud. In addition to peer-to-peer networking, attendees will also have opportunity to connect with Tagetik customers, partners, product experts, and consultants from around the world.
Nineteen partner sponsors will participate in the 2015 conference. Platinum sponsors include Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, Microsoft, PwC, Qlik and SAP. The conference also includes a full-day Partner Summit on September 16, during which Tagetik partners and distributors will share experiences and strategies for further strengthening Tagetik's partner network.
Financial and business leaders from fast growing start-ups to large global enterprises will participate in the conference, including leaders from Unicredit Group, Generali Group, Mersen, Borealis, Timex Group, Hempel, Poste Italiane, Talanx, Hunterdon Medical Center, Wintrust Financial Corporation, Green Courte Partners, ONVZ, Erste Group Bank, Laing O'Rourke, and Raiffeisen Bank International.
"Our global conference highlights our long-standing commitment to arm customers with the knowledge and tools to be business champions. Throughout the conference, we will share insights and experiences from industry experts, groundbreaking CFOs, senior executives, partners and practitioners to provide attendees with insights and best practices for bringing greater efficiency and strategic value to their businesses," said Manuel Vellutini, Tagetik co-CEO.
"Our new Progressive CFO track, which is based on the highly positive response we've received from the Progressive CFOTM monthly webinar series launched earlier this year, includes sessions on corporate data governance, enterprise-wide integrated reporting and the impact of technology innovation on the business. The conference also includes sessions on the automated creation and use of enterprise KPIs, end-to-end financial planning, and meeting ever-expanding regulatory requirements," he added.
Industry experts and analysts presenting at the conference include Paul Hamerman, principal analyst at Forrester Research; William McNee, founder and CEO of Saugatuck Technology; and Jyoti Banerjee, technology initiative program leader for the International Integrated Reporting Council. These thought leaders will also participate in panel discussions on finance and technology trends alongside experts from Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, Microsoft, PwC, Qlik, and SAP. Throughout the agenda, customer presentations will elaborate on how these trends and other challenges impact their businesses and how Tagetik helps address them.
"Two years ago, we presented key points of the software implementation and the resulting improvements in our consolidation and reporting processes. This year we will showcase our transition to Tagetik 5, the benefits gained in our 2015 half-year consolidation, and the advantages we expect from accessing Tagetik from all mobile devices through a secured web access connection," said Thierry De Taeye, vice president of group accounting and controlling at Mersen.
"Tagetik solutions continue to take finance to the next level," said Marco Pierallini, Tagetik co-CEO. "This conference will help attendees understand how Tagetik 5 features and enhancements - such as easy-to-use dashboards, self-service data visualization, and simpler user experiences -- can take their financial processes to an even higher level and bring new financial insight to senior executives."
To conclude the conference, Tagetik is hosting a special bike ride for attendees. Led by Davide Cassani, coach of Italy's national cycling team, the 65KM ride will loop cyclists through the hills around Lucca.
