The event aims to address one of the biggest challenges in L&D today: measuring the success of learning programs in corporations, educational institutions and federal agencies by gauging what employees and students have absorbed. In its unique approach to implementing learning solutions, Tata Interactive Systems aims to resolve this challenge for companies, universities and government agencies by incorporating the measurement of learning outcomes into its programs.
TIS also conducts ongoing consulting to ensure that its learning solutions are effective for each individual client.
"The Tata Interactive Learning Forum provides an unparalleled opportunity for learning leaders around the globe to share best practices and discuss key issues, new developments and significant initiatives from across the L&D industry," said Tij Nerurkar, Chief Operating Officer, Tata Interactive Systems.
"The forum also offers all participants the opportunity to collaborate with other industry leaders to define the future of training and e-learning," he added.
The by-invitation-only symposium will include an overview of Talent Development Reporting Principles (TDRp), a recent L&D industry initiative that will provide a framework to measure and report talent development outcomes and their impact on business results as well as key effectiveness and efficiency measures. Dave Vance, co-author of numerous TDRp publications, former president of Caterpillar University and 2006 CLO of the Year, will present on the efforts underway to establish TDRp as an ANSI standard and the latest developments in extending TDRp to the other key HR processes like talent acquisition and performance management.
He will also share the complete TDRp framework for L&D along with sample statements and reports.
The event offers two separate tracks for corporate and education professionals. The two tracks provide tailored programming focused on issues and trends that learning leaders in these sectors are currently addressing.
The corporate track's theme for 2012 is "Running Learning Like A Business: Focus On Outcomes, Effectiveness, and Efficiency". Speakers on this track include:
