Teleste's Luminato headend platform has extended with a new application module that enables totally new application development possibilities, limited only by imagination.

The module is a complete Linux computer that provides an open platform for application development and enables developing your own applications to the Luminato headend.

Code your own headend applications! 

The new application module harnesses Teleste Luminato with a full-featured Linux computer. As an integral part of the headend, the module makes it possible to code headend applications for various needs and application areas,
including remote management, stream analysis, Near Video on Demand, CA Server and many more.

As an example, you could code an application to deliver Internet radio and video channels to the hotel TV. Or, for emergency cases, you can develop a messaging application that allows you to deliver emergency alerts and notifications to TV screens in guest rooms and public areas. Also, different types of EPG applications are possible, as shown by Teleste's own EPG module that addresses the needs of easy and flexible EIT information gathering and management.

For any type of application that addresses your needs: you can independently code the application by yourself, just as you would do it on a separate server. Only imagination is your limit! Or, if you have an idea, but no desire to code the application, Teleste can provide the coding for you as a service.
