Randolph Sternberg will be responsible for sales and business development in Europe and will provide strategic guidance in emerging markets. He will play the key role in ensuring focus within the EMEA sales teams. Mr. Sternberg joins TeraRecon with many years of experience from companies ranging from the German IT group Mannesmann Kienzle, to Volkswagen and John Deere, in the areas of material management solutions. Mr. Sternberg also spent many years at Fujitsu Siemens where he held various director positions in the areas of product development, marketing & product supply, and Executive Director for new developments. He has also held positions as COO and Vice President of two IT and Consulting startup companies, as well as his most recent position as General International Sales Manager for a German PACS/RIS/Workflow company with installations in more than 60 countries.
Stefan Phillips will be responsible for all service operations in Europe encompassing client services, clinical training, technical support, project management and installation.
Mr. Phillips comes to TeraRecon with 15 years of healthcare experience ranging from pharmaceutical processes to personal health records and HIT Interoperability Systems. Mr. Phillips has held previous positions as a Software Engineer, IT Project Manager, Head of Project Management and Engagement, HIT Consultant, and a Managing Partner position at companies such as Celesio AG (recently acquired by McKesson), InterComponentWare AG and OneVision Healthcare GmbH.
By taking this step, TeraRecon considerably strengthens its position in EMEA, focusing on further improving service quality, customer centric sales and European market needs.
