The York Dungeon
Journey back in time to the dark underbelly of Roman York at the York Dungeon with chilling live shows, thrilling rides, gruesome exhibits and creepy interactive special effects. Expect sets and scripts to have a more theatrical aspect as York's most infamous rogues, villains and rascals, like Guys Fawkes and Dick Turpin, have enjoyed a makeover to suit a new more dynamic and thrill-filled …rather than fright-filled…journey through York's murky past. Gone will be the fake scars and boils and in their place will be premium quality theatrical make-up and costumes that more accurately reflect the fashions of the relevant historic chapters. The York Dungeon is proud to be working with MAC make-up pro and Sam Norman, make-up artist from film Pirates of the Caribbean who have both been involved in creating the new look.
