The Health Lottery Top Prize Increased to £1/4 Million for 21st January Draw

Having already created more than 200,000 individual winners and 32 top prize winners, The Health Lottery in partnership with HealthWish society lottery, has pledged to increase the top prize for the draw on 21st January to a massive £1/4 million to help the people of Great Britain beat the January blues. Over £15 million has already been paid out in prizes on The Health Lottery since the first draw on 8th October.
Sarah Tinsley, Head of Marketing at The Health Lottery, unveiled the news regarding the bigger prize promotion. "No prizes are shared on The Health Lottery, which means that everyone who matches 5 numbers will win £1/4 million this week. We're thrilled that we've been able to increase the top prize in partnership with HealthWish."
The draw on Saturday 21st January will be televised in the ad break just after 9.55pm on Channel 5 and hosted by the fabulous Melinda Messenger.
The Health Lottery Scheme manages 51 separate society lotteries which operate in rotation and each represent a different geographical region of Great Britain. This week, the local society lottery taking part in the draw is HealthWish which covers Sussex, Brighton and Hove.
Over £9 million has already been donated to health related good causes across Great Britain including charities such as Dementia UK to support careers through the recruitment of Admiral Nurses and Mencap schemes to improve the health and wellbeing of people with learning disabilities.
