The hotel.info Value for Money Index: London has not Achieved Top Ranking Either Nationally or Internationally

During the first quarter of 2011 hotel.info [ http://www.hotel.info ], the free online hotel reservation service with more than 210,000 hotels worldwide, analysed the evaluations of its customers in respect of value for money.*
For the first time hotel.info expanded its analysis of value for money to 2 to 5 star hotels in the United Kingdom. This means that frequently booked business hotels in the budget category are now included in the following analysis as well as hotels in the mid and upper range (3 to 5 stars) as previously. Additionally the 5 star segment is once again representing the luxury end of the market.

The hotels in Belfast gained an evaluation of 7.98 from their guests and were by far and away the best for value for money in the United Kingdom. The capital city and seat of the government of Northern Ireland was in first place well ahead of Manchester with 7.05 points. The port of Bristol was in third place with 6.98 points. Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland scored 6.75 points and was in the middle of the table.
