The WORD Network CEO Claims Auction Mistake Over Lehman Brothers Sign
- WORD NETWORK CEO ALLEGES CHRISTIE'S AUCTION HOUSE MISTAKENLY AWARDED SIGN TO WRONG BIDDER
DETROIT, Sept. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Kevin Adell, CEO and Founder of The WORD Network, the largest African American Religious Network in the world, had placed a maximum bid of $20,000 into today's Christie's Auction of failed investment Bank, Lehman Brothers Sign. The sign had hung formerly at the London Offices of the embattled firm. Mr. Adell claims a mistake on the part of Christie's Auction House resulted in the sign being sold for only £7500 which equals $10,000 American Dollars. A representative of Mr. Adell's has tried to resolve the matter with Christie's but to no avail.
