CHICAGO, Sept. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- TMS, the international leader in entertainment navigation and thePlatform, the leading white-label video management company, have entered into a new agreement. Under the deal, TMS will provide its world-class On® Entertainment metadata to thePlatform for use in its video management solutions for media and entertainment companies. As a result, thePlatform will provide its customers seamless search and discovery of entertainment content across PCs, mobile devices, IP set-top boxes, and connected TVs.

thePlatform, an independent subsidiary of Comcast, will use On Entertainment metadata from TMS for international markets. TMS Unique IDs will enable the synchronization of multiple datasets and facilitate the searchability and discoverability of vast amounts of entertainment content. TMS data is widely recognized as among the broadest, deepest and most interconnected available.
