The Top 50 Companies for Customer Service, organised by UBM Live, is pleased to announce the most outstanding organisations in customer service for 2013. As the largest benchmarking mystery shopping exercise for customer service within the UK, an exceptional average score of 95 per cent was achieved across the top 10 participants over the telephone channel. Nearly 1,000 guests attended the sensational black tie gala ceremony at the Westminster Park Plaza on the 24th October 2013.

The evening presented accolades to the companies who have gone above and beyond to deliver impeccable customer service, and celebrated as Lisa Snowdon, model, television personality and presenter, took to the stage to present the best performers with their trophies.
Businesses are responding to customer demand for a personalised service and are working to maintain the relationships they have with customers. This has been reflected over the last two years with the hugely valuable Top 50 personalisation measure score going up by an astounding 6.3 per cent. Other landmark scores revealed on the night included the highest ever top 10 average for email of 94.1 per cent and the highest ever individual score for email performance at an astonishing 98 per cent.
Dignity Caring Funeral Services were presented with the overall best for calls and came top of the class in an additional three categories, these include: Best Combined Calls and Emails, Best Insurance/Financial Other and Best Small Centre.
At the top of the leader board for email service, Best Western Hotels took poll position achieving a phenomenal 98.03 per cent in customer satisfaction. bpha took the leading position as the best company to communicate with its customers via web chat with a huge score of 83.1 per cent.
For the very first time The Social Pioneers programme was launched as part of the Top 50 and saw a top 10 average of 91.3 per cent and a Top 50 average of nearly 84 per cent. The top three companies for social media are:
