Tripp Lite Appoints Alexander Khalaev as New Vice President of Sales for MENA, CIS and Baltics
CHICAGO, March 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power protection and connectivity solutions, has announced the appointment of Alexander Khalaev as its new Vice President of Sales for the MENA, CIS and Baltic regions.

As Managing Director of Tripp Lite Russia, Khalaev has been leading Tripp Lite's sales efforts in Russia and the Baltics since 2008 and in the CIS region since 2014. He will now also head the company's business expansion project in the Middle East and Northern Africa as Tripp Lite sharpens its focus on the region and aims to better address its unique opportunities and challenges.

Khalaev joined Tripp Lite in 2008 as the founder and Managing Director of the company's office in Moscow, a title he will retain along with his new responsibilities. Khalaev has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry and over 15 years of experience working with distribution channels. He has worked with major brands like HP, Motorola and Hitachi Data Systems. He holds a degree in Economics from the Russian Academy of Foreign Trade in Moscow and an MBA from the University of Antwerp Management School.
